REASI : Deputy Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today convened a meeting with the public representatives, heads of local bodies and prominent citizens of the district to get a firsthand account of the problems faced by the people in the district.

The meeting discussed different issues being faced by the people and fostered coordination among the citizens on all such issues besides to ensure harmony in the district.

The public representatives projected the demand for compensation of land acquired for PMGSY road projects, establishment of a procurement center, effective steps to control drug abuse and other issues .

Speaking on the occasion, the DC assured that all the developmental issues would be addressed and all possible avenues would be explored to redress them at the earliest.

He sought support and cooperation from all to maintain peace for further development of the district.

ADC Abdul Star, ACR Anshumali Sharma, CPO Sunita Kanchan, SDM Katra Deepak Dubey, ACD, Tehsildar Reasi and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
