DC Reasi interacts with youth during online public grievances redress programme
Reasi : District Development Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh, today conducted live interaction with the youth of Reasi as part of ‘Reasi Beeps-Beat the Pandemic’- an online public grievances redress programme.
He listened to scores of grievances on phone to achieve the endeavour of the District Administration to reach out to the Youth to redress their grievances.
The DC attended 22 calls during one and a half hour session from 11 AM to 12:30PM and directed the concerned authorities for early redress of the issues projected by the callers.
Speaking on the occasion, DC said that generating self employment opportunities for the youth is one of the priorities of the administration and asked the officials to work effectively to spread awareness about the various Government schemes for employment generation.
Charandeep Singh said that the unique initiative ‘Reasi Beeps Beat the Pandemic’ has been taken to stay connected with the public during the COVID pandemic. He further said that the initiative has also instilled public confidence during this pandemic”.
The young callers from far flung areas of the district highlighted their problems.
The DC appealed to the youth of the Reasi district to make their contribution in their areas to contain the spread of the COVID- 19 pandemic by displaying covid appropriate behavior and motivating others in their areas to follow covid guidelines.
Responding to the issues of the callers, Charandeep Singh directed the concerned officers to work more effectively and note down youth issues to solve these properly. He directed the concerned authorities to encourage the youth of Reasi to avail the benefits of various schemes meant for them so that they can overcome all adversities in their life thereby developing a positive and healthy environment in the society.
