DC Reasi reviews performance of banks regarding credit linked schemes

 

Reasi: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Charandeep Singh today reviewed the performance of banks regarding achievements under Annual Credit Plan 2021-22 and the position of deposits, advances and CD ratio was today reviewed here at a meeting of District Level Review Committee (DLRC).

The meeting was attended by CPO Sunita Kanchan; Chief Agriculture Officer, S.S Chib; District Horticulture Sandeep Sharma; LDM Habibulla; District Officer, NABARD, Adharsh Gupta, besides other officers.

Lead District Manager, Habibulla informed the meeting that the banks recorded Rs.2738.87 crore deposits and Rs 1216.46 crore advances as on 31st march 2021 . The CD ratio of the district was 44.41%, while the total achievement under ACP 2020-21 stood at Rs.537.51 Crore against the annual target of Rs. 992.85 Crore.

Further, the LDM informed the meeting that District Reasi has been given an ACP target for 2021-22 of Rs. 1007.50 Crores. He informed that the 34331 KCCs were issued and Rs 80.58 crore were disbursed against the sanctioned amount of Rs 81.11 crore.

The DC took a detailed review of the Government sponsored schemes with special focus on KCC and PMEGP schemes. He emphasized on coordination between banks and the concerned government departments regarding the implementation of credit linked schemes effectively. He advised the sponsoring agencies to conduct awareness camps in the Panchayats in coordination with banks to motivate the people for availing the benefits of the self employment schemes. He also directed the concerned line departments to extend adequate handholding to the farmers so that they can easily avail loans and double their income.
