DC Reasi reviews status of Aadhar seeding of FCS&CA beneficiaries

Reasi: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ajay Kumar today reviewed the status of Aadhar seeding of beneficiaries of Food Civil Service & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department.
Chairing a meeting of senior functionaries of district administration and officers of line departments, the DC took a detailed review of the process and achievements recorded so far.
At the outset, Assistant Director, FCS &CA Mohammad Sayeed appraised the chair that at Ration card level Aadhaar seeding has been done 100%, while at beneficiary level it is 85%.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the department to complete the Aadhaar seeding of left over beneficiary within ten days. He instructed the officers for daily review of Aadhaar seeding at Tehsil level. He warned to take strict action against the officers with poor performance.
The DC, while emphasizing on the universal coverage under Aadhar, said that it is very important for the effective and transparent implementation of the schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the department to motivate the general public to provide Aadhaar numbers to get DBT benefits and various government facilities within the fixed timeline. He cautioned that non-seeded Aadhaar rationees would be deleted from portal as per Government guidelines.
