DC reviews implementation of SEHAT scheme; COVID 19 mitigation in Poonch district

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today convened a meeting to review the implementation of recently launched Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PMJAY) SEHAT scheme and COVID 19 mitigation measures in the district.

Reviewing the performance made in the implementation of scheme, the DC directed the concerned officers and staff to work in a mission mode to achieve 100 percent coverage. He asked them to train the Aaraogya Mitras of every health institution to enable them to gain the knowledge and skill to help the people.

The DC further directed that only one Argoya Mitra shall be retained at CHCs/DH level, while the rest shall be deployed in the field to expedite the registration of ABPMJAY-SEHAT cards.

Data of 2.72 lakh eligible beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat shall be provided to Tehsildars/BMOs with all essential details. He further asked the District Nodal Officer to ensure 100% updation of data and uploading of leftover beneficiaries by the end of June 2021.

He directed the BDOs and Nodal Medical Officer to certify quality and quantity of material being issued to rural Covid Care Centre within a week.

BDOs shall be the Nodal Officer for Covid Care Centre being set up at Panchayat level and Medical Officer shall be deployed as Nodal Officer for a cluster of Covid Care centres within a particular block.

He said the district administration has set a target to vaccinate all the leftover frontline workers and PRIs by 03.06.2021 and thereafter, the list of leftover persons will be submitted by the concerned officers along with reason of non compliance.
