DC Samba launches online services for issuance of certificates
SAMBA: In pursuance to directions of Lieutenant Governor J&K, for enhancing service delivery through digital mode, Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today launched 7 Online Services viz. Issuance of Character Certificate, Issuance of Dependent Certificate, Issuance of Income Certificate, Issuance of Legal Heir Certificate, Issuance of Marriage Certificate, Issuance of OBC/RBA/ALC Certificate and Issuance of SC/ST Certificate in all six Tehsils of District Samba.
The residents of District Samba can now apply for these services online and digitally signed certificates shall be issued online to them. The service has been designed and developed using the Service Plus framework of NIC.
The Deputy Commissioner, after the launch programme, said that these services can be availed by Individuals on portal https://serviceonline.gov.in/jammu where they need to register and then fill up the respective application form along with all requisite documents. Further, communication shall be done through email alert and thereafter a digitally signed certificate shall be issued to the applicant. The Portal also facilitates the applicant to check online status of the application any time and also download digitally signed certificates. A unique ID along with QR code is also generated on certificates to ensure genuineness of certificates.
Apart from 7 online services, the Deputy Commissioner also launched a portal sambaservices.in for issuance of Fard Certificate online. This portal will facilitate the revenue officers to upload the Fard Certificate alongwith all the requisite details and land documents online and only after approval, the uploaded documents will get numbered uniquely to ensure uniqueness of uploaded documents under overall supervision of DC Samba.
The Portal is designed and developed by DIO NIC Samba Sanjeev Kapoor and his team. The portal shall improve the transparency and efficiency in bringing the issuance of Fard Certificate in a time bound manner.
The Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of DIO NIC District Samba and his team as well as the Service Plus team of NIC for bringing these 7 services online in a short span of time.
