DC Samba listens to people’s issues; Assures quality disposal of grievances
Samba: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba, Anuradha Gupta today conducted public hearing here at conference hall and listened to the issues of the people.
A large number of people from Samba, Sumb, Deon, Ramgarh, Rajpura, Kard, and other blocks registered their grievances.
The DC said that apart from public hearing at her office for three days a week, weekly Block Divas/Public Darbars are being conducted on every Wednesday where people are registering their demands and grievances and are getting timely redressal of their issues. She assured quality disposal of the grievances projected by the people at all public outreach meetings.
Earlier, the DC gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the visiting delegations and issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate redress of the same.
The PRI and public deputations sought amenities for Kard Area Tribal people, royalty collection points contracts, issues pertaining to Panchayat Deon, Super Express Highway, road Samba to Sumb, land encroachment in Ramgarh, Land encroachment in Rajpura, Tractor Road from Shiv Temple to Shamshan Ghar, Ancestral agricultural/residential land, Fencing permission near Shamshan Ghat, School Admission in KV Samba, clearance of pending DP Cases and PF withdrawal.
Issuing directions to the concerned departments, the DC laid emphasis upon taking regular feedback from the public and asked the officers to submit the action taken report in her office.
She further said that a mechanism for monitoring of public grievance redressal has also been devised in the District under which all district and sectoral heads are directed to dispose of the public grievances and submit Action Taken Reports.
The Public Hearing was attended Additional, Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jitender Mishra and District Informatics Officer, Sanjeev Kapoor, besides other concerned officers/officials.
