DC Samba reviews activities for weekly Block Divas events

Samba: Deputy Commissioner, Samba Anuradha Gupta, today convened a meeting of district officers to review the public service delivery during the conduct of weekly block divas, here at conference hall DC office.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman; Chief Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitinder Mishra; besides other district officers attended the meeting.

The meeting held a detailed discussion on the various activities to be conducted during the upcoming block divas meetings in the district including display of departmental schemes through stalls, distribution of revenue certificates like income certificates, Domicile certificates, and disability certificates, Ayushman Bharat Cards, Social Security scheme applications and other various.

The Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis upon publicity of departmental schemes on various platforms to facilitate maximum coverage. She said block divas in addition to the public service delivery mechanism is also a platform for on the spot public grievances redressal with convergence of all the line departments. She said the e-samadhan app has been designed for organizing all the public grievances in a systematic and coherent manner and time-bound redressal of public issues which can also be utilized during block divas hearing of public grievances.
