DC Samba reviews Covid containment measures, vaccination

 

Samba: Deputy Commissioner, Samba Anuradha Gupta, today reviewed covid-19 situation, containment measures; vaccination, besides enforcement of SOPs here at a meeting and inspection of the town area.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, T.R Shastri; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra; Assistant Commissioner Development Sidharth Dhiman; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal Ramkesh Sharma; Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur C.P Kotwal; Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Turki; District Information Officer Samba Ajay Sharma, besides other staff of medical and administration were also present.

The Deputy Commissioner Samba informed that Addl. Deputy Commissioner has been designated as nodal officer for enforcement of covid—19 SOPs including imposition of penalties.

He stressed on keeping close tab on Markets and Association of Beopar Mandal to see that they are following all SOPs like marking of standing position, installation of sanitizers, roping the shops, following restricted shops operating time and others.

The DC also inspected the oxygen plant in district hospital. He directed executing agency to expedite the full operation of the oxygen plant so that relief can be provided to the Covid patients.

While reviewing the Covid sampling and vaccination drives, the Deputy Commissioner Samba laid stress on intensifying the drive and achieving daily targets. She said nodal officers, BDOs, BMOs and field staff of various departments have been primarily directed to focus on enchanting vaccination drives. She emphasized upon providing all medical facilities like oxymeter, body temp checking apparatus, and fully providing awareness to Covid positive patents.

The Deputy Commissioner also elaborated the roles and responsibilities of the newly established Covid control room in DC office samba and District hospital samba.

She said general public is advised to not venture out of their homes without a valid reason and cooperate with administration in establishing a Covid restaurant environment in the district samba.
