SAMBA : Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today convened a meeting of the District Level Task Force committee on Mission Youth to review the implementation and monitoring of employment schemes under Mission Youth in the District.

Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal (Vishisht Seva Medal), Gagan Jain Entrepreneur were special invitee in the meeting which was attended General Manager DIC Surinder Sharma, Chief Education Officer Omi Kumar, District Information Officer, Ajay Sharma, AD Employment, Handloom and representative from Skill development organization.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Mission Youth initiatives like Mumkin, Parvaaz, Tejaswani, Dental Clinics, Spurring Entrepreneurship Super75 etc aims to provide a vibrant medium for youth engagement and Empowerment.

She informed that a special training program for physical and written examination for recruitment in Indian Armed Forces and Industries linked Skill development plans have been taken up with active involvement of special invitees.

The DC said Youth Clubs have merged as vibrant centers for detailed counselling, livelihood generation, Educational/Skill development, financial assistance sports and recreation for youths.
