DDC Chairman Kupwara inspects COVID Wards at D H Handwara

Kupwara: The Chairman, District Development Council( DDC), Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Pandithpori along with DDC Member Rajwar, Mir Sulaiman and CMO Kupwara, Kouser Amin today visited District Hospital, Handwara.

The Chairman held threadbare discussion with CMO and stressed upon her to ensure all facilities are available at District Hospital, Handwara on priority basis. He also took stock of the covid preparations in the Hospital and expressed satisfaction over the preparations. He Praised Medical Superintendent, Handwara and CMO Kupwara for their preparations regarding COVID.

The Chairman also appealed to people not to panic but follow all guidelines and SOPs in letter and spirit so that we can together fight against Covid Pandemic.

He asked educated youth of the district to build up a good sense and motivation among their friends and relatives for use of masks and maintaining social distance and other required SOPs religiously.
