DDC chairperson Poonch inaugurates mason training under PMAY (G) in block Sathra

Poonch: District Development Council, chairperson, Poonch Tazeem Akhter today inaugurated Mason training under PMAY (G) in block Sathra of District Poonch.

As many as 60 beneficiaries would be trained by certified trainers under the scheme.

It will be on the site training being provided to the trainees by GNS Skills Development Pvt Ltd and supported by Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Govt of Jammu and Kashmir UT.

After the successful completion of the training, the candidates would be provided with a certificate.

The training will be imparted during the construction of houses sanctioned under PMAY (G).

The DDC chairperson referred to various job-oriented and training programmes launched by the government to help the youth and urged them to make use of it. She said there was no dearth of job opportunities in the District provided by the youth harness their skills in different trades.

Block Development Council Chairperson Sathra, ACD Poonch and BDO Poonch were also present on the occasion.
