DDC Chairperson Ramban chairs public outreach programme at Sumber

RAMBAN: Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr Shamshad Shan today chaired a public outreach programme at Sumar to listen and speedily redress the public grievances of the folks living in far-flung areas.

During the public outreach programme, a large number of people put forth demands and problems being faced by them in managing their basic needs.

Dr. Shamshad passed on the spot directions to concerned officers for resolving the issues of public importance highlighted by the PRIs and general masses.

Earlier, the PRIs and other locals demanded adequate power supply, augmentation of drinking water supply, up-gradation of school, establishment of PHC with adequate staff, Veterinary Unit, separate Horticulture and Agricultural units, and maintenance of playground, replacement of old electric poles, construction of roads etc.

Responding to the demands of the people, the DDC Chairperson Dr Shamshada Shan assured that all issues shall be redressed on priority.

While interacting with the general public, the DDC Chairperson said that the District Development Council Ramban has already embarked on the wagon of public outreach programmes with an unflinching commitment.

She expressed her desire that the public should repose faith in us and avail the benefits of various flagship programmes which the Government has put at the disposal of the general Public.

Executive Engineer of PWD, Jal Shakti, PMGSY Banihal, JPDCL, Manager LNT, Agriculture Officer, DY. CEO and various level officers besides prominent citizens attended the programme.
