DDC Doda calls for 100% Saturation of KCCs

Doda: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today directed for ensuring 100% saturation of Kissan Credit Cards in the district.
He was chairing a meeting to review the implementation of flagship farmers’ welfare schemes including KCC and PM-KISSAN.
It was informed that against 66201 KCC cases sponsored by the Agriculture department, 65000 were sent to the banks and 60721 were sanctioned by them.
The DDC directed the concerned to expedite the process of sanctioning of KCC cases and 100% saturation of the same with PM-KISSAN Scheme.
The DDC directed the concerned to remove the discrepancies in the data base for PM- KISSAN and re-verify the valid data with the latest installment sanctioned in favour of beneficiaries.
He informed that the beneficiary oriented schemes are being regularly monitored at the apex level and asked them to expedite effective implementation of the welfare schemes to benefit the eligible beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by CPO and Chief Agriculture Officer alongwith other officials.
