DDC Doda discusses measures for enforcement of covid protection SOPs

Doda: With the opening of religious places from August 16, the District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today held a meeting with the key officials of the civil and police department to discuss measures for enforcing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and safety protocols against Covid.
The meeting was attended by SSP Doda, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhaderwah, SP Operations Doda, ACR Doda besides the SDMs and Dy SP DAR, Dy SP headquarters, and SDPO Bhaderwah.
The DDC directed the concerned Officers to sensitize the religious heads in their respective areas to adhere the social distancing measures at all the worship places without any fail. Besides it was directed that only half of the total strength shall be allowed to worship at any religious places with proper social distancing protocol.
Moreover, the DDC has also directed that there shall be no religious gatherings in open spaces and any violation in this regard shall be dealt seriously under rules.
The DDC also appreciated the religious heads for their cooperation in the containment of Covid-19 and said that they played a significant role by spreading awareness among people. He also appreciated the general public for the cooperation in fighting covid-19.
The DDC appraised the meeting about the instructions, SOPs to be followed at places of the worship. He also directed the participants to call a meeting of the religious heads in their respective jurisdictions to share the SOPs with them besides urged all the religious head’s to follow all instructions.
The DDC informed that all visitors are required to maintain a distance of minimum 4-5 feet from each other, all visitors are to be allowed entry only if they are using face covers/masks and only the persons with no symptoms shall be allowed entry into the premises after washing hands, feet with soap and water.
The DDC also stressed on the need to sanitize the premises on a regular basis by fixation of timing of fumigation, cleanliness. Besides, various other important instructions were issued to the officers and they were asked to carry forward these instructions to all the religious heads in order to combat the spread of Covid-19.
