DDC Doda reviews Covid management measures
Doda: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today reviewed Covid management measures here at a meeting of designated Nodal officers.
A detailed report was presented by the District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat khan regarding the number of present Covid-19 positive cases in the district, number of recoveries and discharged besides the testing being done per lakh in the district. He also highlighted the various important measures needed for effective control of Coronavirus in the district.
The DDC stressed on enforcing compulsory usage of mask by the general public and directed the authorities to impose penalty on the violators without any fail.
While reviewing the status of testing being done block Wise in the district, the DDC directed the BMOs to expedite the testing of the ILI/SARI patients and conduct the testing of all the symptomatic Persons identified during the conduct of Swasthya Nidhi screening specifically above the age of 50 yrs and pregnant ladies in the next 15 days.
The DDC also constituted 10 teams at the block levels for contact tracing of all the non traveller cases and directed the district Epidemiologist to submit the report in this regard to the DC office on daily basis.
The DDC directed the SDMs to gear up men and machinery in their respective jurisdictions to identify the vulnerable areas and start the random sampling, so that the asymptomatic cases if any are detected to avoid the Community transmission.
Seeking strict implementation of social distancing guidelines, the DDC directed the ADCs and SDMs to ensure strict observances of the same in their respective jurisdictions. He asked for imposing fine on the violators more specifically in crowded places, and along with the highway of Bhaderwah and Thathri.
Meanwhile, the meeting was informed that so far 6200 persons were put under home quarantine, of which 4443 completed the prescribed duration and 1757 others are in the process.
The DDC directed the ACR to constitute the teams to conduct the quality review of the quarantine centres and isolation centres. He further directed to ensure availability of requisite Infrastructure in quarantine centres and immediate action to overcome shortcomings, if any.
He further asked for encouraging the people for Installation of Arogya Setu App, which is very effective in the fight against the pandemic.
The DDC also directed the district Epidemiologist to frame separate guidelines for the public clinics and ultrasonographic clinics with immediate effect and ensure testing of the doctors working in the clinics after every 15 days.
The DDC also sought further fortification of the Assar Naka and directed the concerned to place more screening counters with additional staff so that the inward as well as outward movement can be strictly monitored.
