DDC inaugurates first “Evening Clinic” at DTC Kishtwar

 

KISHTWAR : As part of the Good Governance initiative, the District Administration Kishtwar has started establishment of “Evening Clinics” in the district to strengthen patient care services.

In this context, the first designated “Evening Clinic” established here at District Tuberculosis Centre, was today inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC congratulated and appreciated the role of Medical Fraternity in particular for creating the evening consultation service facility especially for the labourers and the workers who can not attend regular OPD due to work engagement. He said the facility will provide much needed evening health services apart from the regular OPD services in the district Hospital.

“ In near future 2 to 3 more evening clinics will be opened within the municipal limits of Kishtwar to benefit the people who cannot attend routine OPDs due to their work engagements” the DC informed.

Among others the inaugural function was attended by the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas; Medical Superintendent DH, Dr. Parvez Iqbal Wani; BMO, Kishtwar Dr. Sat Lal Manhas; BMO Chatroo Dr. Guljabeen Ara; Consultant Physician DH Kishtwar Dr. Sanjay Parihar; Medical Officer Dr. Kanhaiya Lal, staff members of DTC Kishtwar and students of various paramedical institutes.
