DDC inspects developmental works in Ghordi block

Udhampur : District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla, today conducted an extensive tour of remote areas of Block Ghordi and inspected developmental works being executed under PMGSY, CRF and PHE sector.
The DDC was accompanied by SDM, Ramnagar Naresh Kumar; Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan; Xen PHE, Taj Choudhary; Xen R&B, Girdhari Lal and other officers of different departments.
While carrying inspection of Udhampur-Ghordi road, the Xen PWD was directed to expedite the construction work and get it completed at the earliest.
The DDC directed the concerned departments to work in coordination and remove all bottlenecks, if any, to complete the works at the earliest.
The DDC directed the officers to stay in contact with the PRIs and pay regular visits to remote and far-flung areas to build confidence among people and ensure the quality of developmental works. He instructed the concerned officers to complete all the projects within prescribed time and dedicate the same to the people for early utilization. He further exhorted them to put in their best efforts to achieve the targets within set timeline.
The DDC further instructed the officers to monitor the pace of work on routine basis and take care of existing public utilities to avoid inconvenience to the public. He also instructed to complete ongoing water supply schemes.
During the visit, the DDC also interacted with concerned PRIs and listened to their demands and assured them that their genuine issues will be sorted out on priority.
