DDC inspects several work projects at Kulgam
Kulgam: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today directed R&B department to start work on approach road of Ashmuji Gund Bridge (from Ashmuji side) within days and set them a timeline of two month for its completion.
The DDC passed this direction during an inspection of the work site of the Gund Kilam Bridge here today.
On the occasion it was informed that Gund Kilam 11×33 Mtr span bridge was constructed with an estimated cost of 14.57 crore and this bridge is going to benefit a vast population of the district.
During his visit DDC was accompanied by JD-Planning and other officers.
The DDC also visited High School Checkpora Ashmuji and took stock of pace and progress of ongoing work of school building. It was informed that the estimated cost of the work project is 1.33 crore.
Earlier the DDC visited newly constructed NTPHC at Srandoo which is operational for patient care now and took stock of medical services being provided to patients there.
He also inspected various section of the hospital and enquired about available facilities and staff strength at the institution.
The DDC was informed that the newly constructed building of NTPHC Srandoo was executed by Police Housing Corporation and the estimated cost of the project was 1.79 crore.
Later he chaired a meeting of officers to review education sector work projects. It was informed that out of total 58 work projects 29 stands completed.
A detailed discussion was held during the meeting regarding removal of bottlenecks of several projects impeding their completion.
