DDC Kathua reviews implementation of Capex Budget plan 2021-22

KATHUA: To review the implementation of development plan under District Capex Budget 2021-2022, District Development Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting of officers of various line departments here at conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, CEO MC Kathua, Chief Medical officer, Xen PDD, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, XEN PMGSY, XEN Jal Shakti, Chief Education Officer ,XEN REW,XEN Irrigation, XEN PHE (MECH.) Kathua, EO MC Basohli, Billawar and Lakhanpur attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC asked the officers of concerned departments to formulate the plan in consultation with the PRI members as per the needs of their areas and float the tenders so that works could be started at an earliest.

He asked the officers to take up works under various Developmental schemes for which the budget has already been released. He further added that as per guidelines of the government, all the purchases must be done through the GEM portal.

The DDC asked the officers to expedite the ongoing development works and submit a weekly report to his office. He directed the officers to monitor and ensure the quality and pace of the works.
