DDC Kishtwar reviews progress under District Capex Budget 2020-21
Kishtwar: District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today reviewed the progress under district Capex Budget here in a meeting at Conference Hall DC office complex Mini-Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; besides district officers and XEns of the concerned departments.
The DDC reviewed the sector wise physical and financial status of the various developmental works undertaken in the district under Capex Budget 2020-21.
Joint Director Planning informed the meeting that as against the outlay of Rs 716.07 lakh under the regular schemes, an amount of Rs 619.31 lakh stand released and Rs 258.53 lakh utilised by the end of Feb. 2021.
He further informed that an amount of Rs 18175.54 lakh out of sanctioned amount of Rs 19176.85 lakh in the centrally sponsored schemes (central share) besides Rs. 20.03 lakhs out of Rs 20.95 lakh (UT share) has been utilized so far.
The meeting was further informed that no funds have been received under Samagra Shiksha against the current year outlay.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to utilize available funds under the CAPEX budget by 31st March 2021 judiciously.
He further stressed on utilisation of funds in a proper manner, and warned the executing agencies of strict action for any compromise in quality of work.
While reviewing the progress on the construction of roads and sub centers at the Gulabgarh, Ligri, Drabshalla, Sigdi undertaken by PWD, the DDC laid special thrust on the completion of all developmental works in all respects by the set deadline of March 31.
During the meeting, Xen PHE Anil Kaylu was directed to expedite the pace of work and meet the set targets of laying and fitting of water pipes to different schools under the district Capex by the end of this month.
Detailed review on the progress of the completion of playgrounds by Youth services and Sports Departement was also taken in the meeting.
