DDC Kishtwar sets in motion District Red Cross Society on corona epidemic

Kishtwar: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara today convened a meeting of the members of Red Cross Society of Kishtwar district here and directed to take several remedial measures to prevent spread of the corona virus infections.
The others who were present in the meeting were Secretary Red Cross, Kishtwar, Asgar Ali Sheikh and other volunteers.
In the meeting threadbare discussions were held on the steps to be taken to protect the people of Kishtwar from Corona virus infection.
DDC, who is also the Chairman of Red Cross Society District Kishtwar, said that it is our prime duty from the administrative point to tackle the situation carefully. He asked the Red Cross society members to spread the awareness among the general masses about this epidemic.
He further said the administrative machinery has been activated to sensitize the public and necessary directions have been passed to the concerned authorities on the issue to take remedial measures to prevent spread of the infections.
DDC further stressed upon the members of the RCS unit Kishtwar to strengthen the voluntary base at ground level and to kick start the process of disseminating the awareness to the general masses of district Kishtwar through various tools and techniques. He also assured full support of administration on all possible fronts.
