DDC Kulgam reviews functioning of RDD sector

 

KULGAM : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review the functioning of Rural Development Department, progress made under MGNREGA, 14th FC, SBM and B2V etc.

The DDC reviewed Block and Panchayat-wise performance made under various schemes and directed to expedite the pace of developmental works and complete the same within the fixed timelines.

On the occasion the chair was also apprised about the physical and financial achievements made under MGNREGA, 14FC, B2V-3 works.

It was informed that estimation of 2505 MGNREGA works have been done and 1034 works have been taken up. It was also given that under 14th FC phase II, out of 4298 approved works 3735 works have been taken up.

During the meeting, the DDC directed to scale up the pace of verification of job cards and eliminate/delete inactive job cards.

He also directed the concerned to ensure no lapse in timely payments.

The DDC stressed to work proactively to achieve set targets within the stipulated time frame.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACD, DPO, CPO, Block Development Officers and other concerned.
