DDC Poonch chairs meeting of Panchayat Raj representatives of Block Sathra

Poonch: District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav today chaired a joint meeting of the Panchayat Raj Representatives of Block Sathra and officers of line departments.
The meeting was attended by ACD, CEO Tourisim, Executive agency, CAHO, BDO, CAO, DSWO, BMO, CMO, BDC, Chairperson Block Sathra, Sarpanchs and other concerned officers.
The meeting discussed various issues related to the finalisation of action plan submitted by BDC chairperson, construction of bunkers, improvement of electricity distribution system, augmentation of PHE network, development of tourism infrastructure at Gali Pindi, repairing of Fagla Road,Hari Buddha to Fatehpur road, Chakrara to Pothi road, enrollment of Aadhar seeding and other developmental issues.
While interacting with BDC Chairperson and Sarpanches, the DDC threw light on various schemes like KCC and stressed on their effective implementation for the uplift of people at grass root level.
He further directed all the officers of line departments to hold regular awareness camps for encouraging the farmers to avail the benefits of the schemes.
The DDC asked PRIs members to work with full zeal and zest in co-operation with different departments for the smooth and efficient functioning of panchayats and development of their respective areas.
