DDC Ramban inspects quarantine centers, interacts with inmates

Ramban: District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today visited Batote area and inspected quarantine centers there. The quarantine centres have been established by district administration for the stay of people who are being brought back to district from different parts of the country during COVID-19 lockdown.
The DDC along with ADC, Ashok Sharma conducted an extensive visit at administration quarantine center, Darmound, Batote and reviewed the arrangements put in place by the concerned departments.
The DDC asked the officers to ensure greater coordination at all levels so that adequate arrangements and logistics work smoothly. He stressed on the need of strict adherence to all the prescribed guidelines especially maintaining social distance during the process of sampling besides providing other services to them to prevent the spread of corona virus.
The DDC expressed satisfaction over the status of arrangements in place for facilitating the people in administrative quarantines, sampling and to move towards their home localities at the earliest.
He also interacted with inmates who appeared satisfied with facilities. They were told that all those who are found COVID-19 negative would be allowed to go home within a couple of days.
Inmates appreciated the administration for providing hygienic and healthy eatables at the time of Sehri and Iftar besides other essential facilities.
