DDC Samba reviews progress of Aadhar seeding process

Samba: District Development Commissioner, Samba Rohit Khajuria, today chaired a meeting of District officers to review the progress of Aadhar seeding of bank accounts of beneficiaries of the various welfare schemes.
The meeting discussed in detail about the Aadhar seeding of beneficiaries covered under schemes like National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), marriage Assistance Scheme, NFSA, MGNREGA (job card holders) and other related schemes.
The DDC directed the concerned agency to put in place requisite machinery and manpower to achieve 100% aadhar seeding within stipulated time. He also directed the officers to provide fast track facility to trace and enroll left out eligible families.
The DDC directed Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman to ensure cent percent aadhar seeding for all schemes and seek progress achieved from respective Block Development Officers. He directed the officer to work in close coordination with bank representatives and strive for achieving 100% target.
The DDC, while emphasizing on the universal coverage under Aadhar, said that it is very important to link bank accounts of students and beneficiaries of various schemes with Aadhar numbers for the effective and transparent implementation of the schemes.
The meeting was attended by Chief planning officer, Sukhleen Kour; District Social welfare officer, Deep Kumar; Lead bank manager, Ajay Koul; block development officers besides other concerned officials.
