DDC serves show cause notice to DYSSO Udhampur

Udhampur: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla today served a show cause notice to the District Youth Services & Sport Officer Udhampur.
Keeping in view pandemic COVID-19 all the officers/ officials were directed to remain present at their respective head quarters. As per notice the officer was assigned a duty to establish quarantine centre at Mini Stadium Udhampur but it was found that officer failed to perform his duty and he was found to be out of station without proper permission.
In this connection DDC served a show cause notice to the said officer and asked to explain his position failing which action under section 51 District Disaster Management Act 2005 shall be initiated against him.
