DE & CC, Ramban invites applications from youth under MUMKEN scheme
Ramban: The Government of J&K UT has launched the ‘MUMKIN’ scheme for providing sustainable livelihood to the educated unemployed youth by providing them loans to buy light commercial vehicles.
As per the Assistant Director, District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC),Ramban, the aspiring youth who are between 18 to 35 years can apply on-line through URI at http://jk.gov.in/jkservices or personally visit the office of the DE&CC, Ramban which will assist them in applying for the scheme.
The copies of necessary documents required for applying for the MUMKIN scheme are Domicile Certificate/Ratio Card/Adhar Card/Unemployed Certificate ;Date of Birth Certificate (must be between 18 to 35 years) and driving license.
And in case, an applicant engages a driver to operate the vehicle, he needs to submit the copy of the driving license of that driver and an Affidavit to the effect that the applicant will engage a driver to operate the vehicle for a period of not less than 3 years or till the applicant acquires his or her driving license or till he repays the loan amount in full.
The youth thus selected for the financial assistance under MUMKIN shall also furnish an indemnity bond duly attested by a judicial magistrate stating that he /she is not doing or was not doing any (State or Central) government job and that he/she shall not take up any such job without repayment of the loan in full.
And that he/she had not already availed any financial assistance for self employment in any government scheme.
The applicant should also have been granted a permit by an appropriate authority to ply the vehicle for passengers or goods as the case may for hire, wherever applicable.
