DE&CC holds Career Counseling/ guidance session at GPC, Kulgam

KULGAM : The District Employment and Counseling Centre Kulgam today conducted a Career Counseling cum guidance session at Government Polytechnic College (GPC) Kulgam, here.

The session was attended by a good number of students from different courses of the college.

Principal Govt Polytechnic College Kulgam, Shafaqat Yousuf, Employment Officer DE&CC Kulgam, Rozi Jan and other officers were also present on the occasion.

During this session, students were counseled about various career opportunities available to them after their studies.

A brief overview of the employment scenario and job market trends was also given to the students.

Participants were made aware about various self employment schemes of the government, and emphasis was laid on entrepreneurship and self employment.

A live demonstration of the registration on the employment portal was also presented during the session.
