DECC organises awareness camps at Panchari

UDHAMPUR : To sensitize the general public about MUMKIN and TEJASWINI schemes, a daylong awareness camp was organized by District Employment & Counselling Centre Udhampur here at three different venues of Block Panchari.

The awareness camp was held at Panchari under the chairmanship of District Development Council member, Panchari Jasvir Singh, in presence of Block Development Council, Jeevan Kumar and attended by Sarpanches, panches and general public of the area.

Career Counselling Officer, DECC, Navdeep Kour conducted back to back awareness sessions regarding Tejaswini and Mumkin one at UMEED Block Panchari and other at Block Development Office Panchari.

The awareness camp was conducted by DECC in collaboration with JKSRLM wherein around 50 participants were sensitized regarding Tejaswinin and other schemes being run by the Employment department.

Another awareness session was conducted at BDO office Panchari wherein DDC Chairman and sarpanches, panches attended the camp.

The DDC and BDC members lauded the efforts of DECCU for organizing this awareness camp. They urged the Department to organize more such camps in the block in the near future .
