Deepak Ramola while expressing his emotions on the receiving the award said “I am truly humbled to receive the award, admiration, and love from those I have always looked up to for great work. I am grateful to teachers like Mrs. Shraddha Bakshi who never treated poetry as a punishment for her students but as a weapon of mass construction and creativity. Special gratitude to my publisher, Vani Prakashan as they have always championed the cause of good words. This recognition comes at a time when the young face the dilemma of fitting in and standing out. I myself have been part of the process only to be enlightened that as long as one is true to one’s own voice it doesn’t matter how much in or out you are. “
