Dehradun Half Marathon 2024 (11th Edition) saw participation from 1200 runners

Dehradun :  Today, Thrill Zone organized the Dehradun Half Marathon 2024 (11th Edition), which was flagged off at 5:30 AM from IT Park, Sahastradhara Road. The theme for this year is “Run for Cyber Security,” which is part of Cyber Security Awareness Month, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of online safety.

The organizers of the Dehradun Half Marathon 2024 and the founder of Thrill Zone, PC Kushwaha, said that 1200 male and female runners from across the country participated in the 21 km and 10 km Fastest Categories.

 

In the 21 km Fastest (Men’s category): 

– The first place was secured by Satpal, who completed the marathon in 1 hour, 22 minutes, and 23 seconds.

– Ankur Sharma came second, finishing in 1 hour, 23 minutes, and 16 seconds.

– Gulab Singh secured the third position, finishing in 1 hour, 29 minutes, and 52 seconds.

 

In the 21 km Fastest (Women’s category): 

– Madeline won first place, completing the marathon in 1 hour, 51 minutes, and 40 seconds.

– Shalu Dudeja came second, finishing in 2 hours, 14 minutes, and 16 seconds.

– Preeti secured third place, finishing in 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 27 seconds.

 

In the 10 km Fastest (Men’s category): 

– Prempal Singh secured first place, completing the marathon in 39 minutes and 12 seconds.

– Jayant Rawat came second, finishing in 39 minutes and 49 seconds.

– Anant Rawat secured third place, completing the race in 39 minutes and 55 seconds.

 

In the 10 km Fastest (Women’s category): 

– Pamela Bahl secured first place, completing the marathon in 57 minutes and 20 seconds.

– Alka Jagdish came second, finishing in 1 hour, 1 minute, and 44 seconds.

– Pooja Gusain Negi secured third place, finishing in 1 hour, 2 minutes, and 8 seconds.

 

The partners supporting the Dehradun Half Marathon 2024, Jeevisa Wellness and Bharat Furniture with Cynotech as the technology partner. Dr. Sunita Godara, the 1992 Asian Marathon Champion, served as the mentor for the marathon, while Naresh Singh Nyal was the technical director who managed the event proficiently.
