Delhi: 14th edition of Global Skills Summit begins, to focus on empowering youth and creating future

The 14th edition of the Global Skills Summit has begun in Delhi today. The theme of the two-day Summit is building skills, empowering youth, and creating a future.

The Summit aims to focus on creating a road map for a high-quality industry-led skilling ecosystem in India.

Addressing the Summit, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Secretary Atul Kumar Tiwari said the country’s dynamic workforce seeks immediate post-school opportunities.

He further added that the ecosystem of education, skills, and entrepreneurship in the country must equip the youth with skills and employment opportunities as the economy grows.

The Summit will see future-forward discussions and deliberations on the ways to make the youth of India skilled for the industry and navigate the skilling and education ecosystem in India.
