DEO Kulgam reviews Health and Purification of Electoral rolls

KULGAM: In order to review Health and Purification of Electoral Rolls, a meeting of officers was today held under the chairmanship of District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at mini-secretariat, here.

During the meeting a threadbare discussion on processing of forms viz. 6/6a/7/8/8a was held.

The DEO instructed the concerned to ensure 100 percent photo coverage of Electoral Rolls. He also stressed to ensure 100 percent issuance of EPICs among voters.

The DEO directed the concerned to hold voter awareness camps and voter awareness contests.

Later, Dr Bilal also reviewed facilities at Polling stations and directed to ensure proper and adequate facilities at all polling stations across the district.

The meeting was attended by EROs- Additional District Development Commissioner, Kulgam; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Noorabad and AEROs- All Tehsildars and Nodal Officer SVEEP.
