Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University Kishanganj Centre, Bihar observed the International Women’s Day

ALIGARH  : The Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University Kishanganj Centre, Bihar observed the International Women’s Day by organizing literary and cultural events and holding lectures and speeches to spread awareness regarding safeguard of women’s rights.

Dr. Shahzad Alam discussed the history of Women’s Day and contribution of women in the social and cultural advancement of society through their achievements.

Zoobia Fatima delivered a speech in Urdu highlighting the contribution of women to social development. Enzamamul Haque presented his self-composed poetry on women, while Kajal Singh presented a poem in Hindi and Ammar Yusuf presented a self- composed poem in Urdu. Mohd. Anas and Atufa Aleem presented songs

A poster making competition was also organized to educate students and urge them to make conducive environment to empower women in all respects.

The final year MBA students screened a short advertisement film, “Break the Bias”, to mark the women’s day.

Organizing Secretary, Dr. Zeba Naz extended a vote of thanks, while Vaqas Abrar, Chavi Gaur and Areeba Khan conducted the programme.
