Department of Cardiology to run Specialty OPDs

Aligarh : The Department of Cardiology, JN Medical College & Hospital, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will run general OPDs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Wednesdays in the OPD 14 Complex of the Medical College from 8 am onwards.

According to Prof Asif Hasan, Chairman, Department of Cardiology, five specialty OPDs namely Arrhythmia and Heart Failure Clinic (Mondays); Interdepartmental Specialty Clinics: Pediatric Cardiology Clinic and Peripheral Vascular Disease Clinic (Post CABG Clinic) (Wednesdays); Valvular Heart Disease Clinic (Fridays); and Structural Heart Disease Clinic (Saturdays) will run from 9 am to 12 noon.

“This OPD schedule will be effective from 1st February and it will be beneficial for the patients as it will cater to all categories of heart disease in a convenient and coordinated way”, said Prof Asif Hasan.
