Department of Chemistry gets new chairperson

ALIGARH: Prof Zeba N. Siddiqui has been appointed as Chairperson of the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University for a period of three years with effect from March 5, 2024.

Prof Siddiqui has been engaged in teaching and research since 1993 and has published two books and more than 80 research papers in journals of repute. She has completed three research projects, and the research areas of her interest include Chemistry of Heterocycles, Medicinal Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Material Chemistry.
