Department of IT, Govt. of Bihar, plans for the Road MAP for next 2 years

For next two years our emphasis should be on generating new employment opportunities in the field of Information Technology – Jibesh Kumar , IT Minister, Govt. of Bihar

 

Patna : Under the chairmanship of Hon’ble IT Minister, Govt. of Bihar, Shri Jibesh kumar and the supervision of the Principal Secretary Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Bihar, Santosh Kumar Mall, a review meeting took place in the IT Department. The Hon’ble Minister of IT, Government of Bihar, Shri Jibesh Kumar said “we will outline a roadmap for next two years and our emphasis should be on generating new employment opportunities in the field of Information Technology.”

Various projects under the Department of Information Technology, Government of Bihar were reviewed by the Hon’ble Minister IT & Principal Secretary. In the course of review, the Hon’ble Minister inquired about the updated status of the projects being run by the IT Department and Beltron and the roadmap for the next two years and strategy for making Bihar a hot spot for IT investment were discussed.

The emphasis of the review meeting was on the key projects & their progress such as State Data Center (SDC) and BSWAN, Unified Service Portal, Bihar Aadhaar Authentication Framework (BAAF), eOffice, MyGov, CDAC- Patna and NIELET, Public Wi-Fi Hotspot, Agri CoE, STPI Patna, World Class IT Tower / IT Park / IT City and Start-up Hub. The key focus is to generate new employment opportunities in the IT sector for developing a progressive and prosperous state.
