Chicago: Chicago-based DePaul University has announced a new Graduate Presidential Scholarship for which Indian post graduate students seeking admission for Fall 2021 can qualify. The scholarship valued at US $6,000 is available for students enrolling by direct admission in six Master of Science degree programs: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction and Information Systems, offered by the university’s College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM). There is no separate scholarship application required for the award; each applicant will be reviewed for eligibility at the time of admission.

Ranked as a #124 national university, DePaul is a well-recognised and academically rigorous US University focusing on inclusivity, personalism, and professionalism. Here, students learn from the faculty who have worked in industry and benefit from a real-world focus in the classroom, and they build connections with top Fortune 500 company leaders through DePaul’s network in and outside of the classroom. Students conduct research and project-based hands-on learning through their coursework and mentorships. For instance, there are more than 20 research labs and centers within CDM where students can explore computing, machine-learning, data mining, and more. Even though last year has been a uniquely challenging time for students, it is clear that Indian students are committed to their aim of studying in the USA and the opportunities which come with that choice. The announcement of the new scholarships will enable even more talented Indian students to take up that opportunity and I would encourage anyone hopeful of studying at the DePaul University to seriously look into these options from this fall intake.”
