Dept of Social Work, AMU among top in Today Group- MDRA Survey

Aligarh : The Department of Social Work, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been ranked 12th best institution/college/ department in the Country to study social work in the recently released India Today Group- MDRA Survey 2022 on the basis of ‘Intake Quality and Governance’, ‘Academic Excellence’, ‘Infrastructure and Living Experience’, ‘Personality and Leadership Development’, ‘Career Progression’ and Placement’.

It has also been squarely placed on the first position in Career Progression and Placement of students among all the participating social work institutions and eighth in providing best value for money in all social work colleges.

Prof Naseem Ahmad Khan (Chairman, Department of Social Work) remarked: “The faculty members of the department are fostering educational ideas and thoughts inside students that are necessary in changing times and AMU’s contribution to national development is increasing in leaps and bounds”.

The department offers PhD, masters and bachelors programmes in social work.
