DG IMPARD chairs online conference regarding Kashmir Aelamia Declaration, 2021
SRINAGAR : Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (JK IMPARD), Saurabh Bhaghat, today presided over an online conference at IMPARD main campus, Srinagar.
The purpose of the conference was to take forward the commitment expressed in the Kashmir Aelamia Declaration, 2021, to carry out four case studies/best practices. The case studies have been scheduled to be documented and certified by Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad.
The conference was attended by Professor Harsh Sharma from ASCI, Hyderabad; Tariq Ahmad Khan, DG Finance; Sharish Sharma, Zonal head J&K Bank Jammu; M Yaseen Chaudhry, from Ayushman Bharat; Imtiyaz Ahmad from Department of Rural Development; Additional Secretary, Department of Finance.
Various faculty members of J&K IMPARD, both from Srinagar and Jammu offices, including Dr. M A Khan and Dr. Reva Sharma also attended the conference.
DG IMPARD informed the conference about the details of approved case studies which included ‘Back to Village Programme’ of Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj; Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme of Health and Medical Education Department; Empowerment–Setting Benchmarks in Transparency and J&K Bank: A Story of Transformation of Finance Department.
Saurabh Bhagat further informed that these case studies would be taken up by various faculty members and draft will be prepared within week’s time. These case studies will be replicated in other states, he added.
