DGGI Observes Swachhta Pakhwada: Directorate General of GST Intelligence Conducts Cleanliness, Plantation, and Waste Disposal Drives
Consequent upon approval of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Shri Ashu Mathur, Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS), Chief Adviser (Cost), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, has assumed the charge in Level-17 (Apex level) on Monday, 22nd January 2024.
Prior to assuming the charge, Shri Mathur, a 1991-batch officer of the ICoAS, was holding the charge of Additional Chief Adviser (Cost).
Shri Mathur is a qualified Cost Accountant as well as Chartered Accountantbesides holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy & Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore/Syracuse University, USA. He possesses a diverse work experience in various capacities at different Ministries/Departments, autonomous bodies and regulatory bodies like Department of Defence Production; ‘Finance Commission Division’ of Department of Expenditure; AIIMS Jodhpur; Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission; Tariff Commission, and GST etc.
As Chief Adviser (Cost), Shri Mathur is also the head of Indian Cost Accounts Service.
