DHEW Jammu organises 3- day Self-Defense training camp at Govt Girls Hr Sec School Satwari

JAMMU: Mission Shakti -District Hub for Empowerment of women Jammu, Social Welfare Department, J&K organized a Three Day self defense training camp for the Girls here at Government Girls Higher Secondary School.

The School Principal Surjeet Singh and District Mission Coordinator Mission Shakti Jammu Shagun Manchanda supervised the Camp. All the students participated in the camp and received training in self-defense techniques from the experts.

The motive of the camp was to empower girls so that they can protect themselves in any adverse situation, enhance their self esteem and confidence.

Self Defense Trainers, Nikhil Jaral and Neha Jaral taught different self defense techniques to the participants. They gave students important tips about how to defend themselves against potential threats and ensure personal safety.

The District Hub for Empowerment of Women sensitized the Girls and the staff members about the benefits of all the services being provided by the government and how these services can benefit them.
