DIC, Budgam organises Seminar for civil service aspirants in the district

Budgam: To guide the recent pass out graduates of Sheikh-ul-Alam Government Degree College, Budgam regarding the civil services, the District Information Centre (DIC) Budgam today organised a counseling programme cum seminar in the conference hall of DIC, here.

The program was organized in collaboration with Government Degree College Budgam.

The daylong counseling programme was duly attended by about 65 aspiring graduates who had desire to attempt this prestigious choice right now or in near future.

The programme was also organised keeping in view the lack of proper guidance, proper counseling and strategy about how to go for these exams for the aspiring and enthusiastic students.

Taking all issues into consideration DIC Budgam felt need to organize this event where in some KAS officers including ACD Budgam Nuzhat Qureshi, Functional Manager DIC Budgam Ifam Shah as special invitees and Tajamul Yosuf DIO Budgam besides two Assistant Professors of SAM Degree College also attended the session and shared their experience with the students.

Speaking on the occasion, Nuzhat Qureshi enlightened the Civil services aspirants about the strategy to be adopted for cracking civil services IAS/KAS. During the program, Qureshi shared her experience with participants and urged them to work with zeal and dedication for cracking any competitive exam.

Ifam Shah while sharing her experiences with the students in detail presented the curtain raiser about how one aspiring student shall prepare for this coveted exam. She said nothing is impossible but there is a need for strong commitment, resilience and proper approach.

She said every goal is achievable; every student shall feel that he can do it, those who have already succeeded are not from any other universe, they are also amongst you.

Speaking on the occasion, DIO Budgam, Tajamul Yousuf also being the host presented a detailed workout about how to prepare for such exams, Sharing his experiences Tajamul urged the students choose your optional subject minutely based on parameters, do not waste your talent or knowledge on the subjects on whom you lack complete access also have less competence.

He said Aspirants need to be creative and adopt innovative techniques to excel in civil services examination. Hard and smart work is a prerequisite to qualify any exam with flying colors. Aspirants have to show dedication to achieve success in any field.

DIO emphasized on continuous preparation to meet challenges in context of examination. Failure is not an end, in fact it is the 1st step towards success, he added.
