DIC Jammu felicitates PMEGP beneficiaries

 

JAMMU : District Industries Centre, Jammu today hosted a programme to felicitate and encourage the beneficiaries who have availed loans for the establishment of self employment ventures under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), here at Exhibition Ground, Jammu.

General Manager, District Industries Centre, Jammu, Subah Mehta distributed the Subsidy / Margin Money sanction letters among the beneficiaries after 100% verification by the outsourced agency for further adjustment into the loan accounts.

Speaking on the occasion, the GM appreciated the beneficiaries for becoming successful entrepreneurs by availing the subsidized loans under the services and manufacturing sectors. She also applauded them for becoming the job providers instead of job seekers by extending the job opportunities to others.

She encouraged the beneficiaries to avail the benefits of 2nd loan under PMEGP in which they become eligible for expansion of previous PMEGP unit for up to Rs. 25 lakh in Service Sector and up to Rs. 1.00 Crore in Manufacturing Sector after adjustment of Margin Money claim (subsidy) and repayment of first loan within stipulated time.

While further highlighting the objectives of the scheme, she further added that the beneficiaries who have availed the 1st loan shall also become eligible for 2nd loan after producing required documents viz. Previous Sanction Letter issued by Bank; Bank certificate For Full Loan Repayment; Project Report For Expansion /Upgrading the unit; Passport Size Photo; IT Return (For last 3 years or 1 year); Annual Account Certified By CA (For last 3 years); Udyog Aadhaar Registration Certificate (UDYAM Reg.); Bank Consent Letter; PAN, Aadhaar and GST No.

The Subsidy / Margin Money sanctioned letters were handed over to Shivangi Dhiman ( Rs 4.01 Lakh for Boutique / Ready Made Garments); Sudhir Kapil (Rs 0.83333 lakh for Voltage Stabilizer); Sher Singh (Rs 0. 70350 lakh for Stationery Items); Anil Kumar Sharma (Rs 0. 75 lakh for Noodles); Rajinder Singh Randhawa (Rs 6.12 Lakh for Fabrication Work); Shubam Kumar (Rs 3.26 Lakh for Automobile Works); Mohammad Shabir (Rs 2.10 Lakh for Exercise Note Books); Jyoti Devi (Rs 2.45 lakh for Mandap Decoration); Nitu Dogra (Rs 1,00,000 for Herbal Beauty Parlor) and Neena Sharma (Rs 3.75 lakh for Tailoring and Readymade Garments).
