DIET Doda hosts virtual workshop for Teachers

Doda: To build capacity of the teachers to skillfully cope up with the online teaching amid the COVID-19, the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Doda organized one day virtual workshop on development of audio-video e-content of teachers of District Doda.
The online event was the part of the phase wise workshops being organised by the DIET from July 18, 2020 to 30-07-2020 for 4465 teachers of all the ten zones of the District.
During the workshop, the teachers were exposed to different skills necessary for effective development of e-content, including creating, developing and uploading of audio-video resources. The trainees were further exposed to various online platforms of national and international repute that are catering to the online education of children through distant mode. The training was conducted in a cascade mode in which the District and Zonal resource persons played a very crucial role to ensure the successful realization of desired targets.
Principal, DIET Doda, Ch. Lal Hussain personally attended all the training programmes and interacted with the participants and resource persons to encourage and motivate field teachers to put in their best efforts during these extra ordinary times when the society needs their services the most.
While interacting with the participants, the Principal appreciated the role of resource persons at District and Zonal level for successful completion of the workshop and expressed his gratitude to Director School Education Anuradha Gupta, who despite of her busy schedule spared her time to interact with the participants of different zones to encourage and motivate them to play their crucial role as an agent of social change.
