Digital JK: Orientation Programme on operationalisation of e-Office held at Kishtwar
KISHTWAR : An orientation Programme on e-Office was held here the other day to sensitize the departments about the operationalisation of the system.
The orientation workshop was conducted by National Informatics Centre for the technical assistants of different departments and presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.
ADDC, Sham Lal; JD-planning, Mohd Iqbal; ACR, Varunjeet Singh Charak; DSEO, Akhil Sen; DIO NIC Pankaj Kumar besides technical assistants and dealing assistants of different departments attended the programme.
The DIO NIC Kishtwar gave a detailed insight about the operation of e-Office through on the spot demonstration.
In his address, DC Kishtwar laid thrust complete switching over of all departments to e-Offices to make the working paperless. He directed the concerned officers to submit the requisitions for IT infrastructure required for implementing the operations of e-Offices.
He said the government is switching over to e-office mode of working and no physical files will be entertained after the completion of the process.
Meanwhile, the officials/technical assistants apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the bottlenecks hindering the progress of making offices paperless.
The DC urged heads of the departments to seek assistance from NIC, District Centre Kishtwar for smooth working of the system.
He said no laxity will be accepted in full operation of e-Offices and warned of strict action in case of any delay.
