DIPR Cultural wing Jammu organises cultural program on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at RHSS Parade

JAMMU: As part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ a cultural programme was today organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations here at Ranbir Higher Secondary School Parade.

A variety cultural event was presented by the artists of the cultural unit of the department. Anjali Gupta, Principal of the school was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The artists sang patriotic songs and enthralled the audience by their melodious presentation.

The artists Vijay Anand, Drama Instructor, Mohinder Panchairvi, Suresh Kumar, Banti Shah, Kamal Kumar, Balbir Singh, Rajid Manzoor Surjeet Singh presented the Cultural program.The program proceedings were conducted by Suresh Sharma, Sr. Cultural Assistant.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest thanked the Information Department for organising the cultural programme to mark 75 years of India’s Independence and to recall the contribution of heroes of the freedom struggle. She said that the department is organising such programmes for the public awareness about the real history of India.
