DIPR hosts cultural programme on COVID-19 at Udhampur

Udhampur: To spread awareness about Corona virus among the masses, Department of Information & Public Relations Cultural Wing, Jammu in collaboration with District Information Centre, Udhampur organized a scintillating folk cultural programme based on COVID-19 Do’s & Don’ts, here at Divyang Sewa Ashram Udhampur.

Incharge Divyang Seva Ashram Trust, Pritpal Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts of Information Department for organizing this awareness event on Corona virus and ways to remain safe from the disease. He urged the Department to organize more such programmes in the district.

Artists of Cultural Wing, Jammu presented a scintillating cultural programme based on Covid-19. A theme based Dogri song regarding COVID-19 “Asain Saaren Gee Samjhana aia Asain Corona Gee Nasaana Aia” presented by Mohinder Kumar, senior Artist Cultural Wing Jammu, was highly appreciated by the audience with repeated round of applause.

After concluding the programme, the DIPR also distributed pamphlets regarding Corona virus among the general public.

Among others, senior artists of Information Department which include Yash Kumar, Suresh Sharma, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar besides prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
