DIPR hosts Multilingual Mushaira, Cultural Programme

Jammu: To promote literary activities, the Cultural Wing of Department of Information & Public Relations, today organized a Multilingual Mushaira cum Cultural Programme highlighting fundamental duties of citizens, here at Primary School Kupper Paraglta.
President Dogri Sahitiya Sabha(Regd.), Kupper Paraglta, Ashok Sharma and Incharge Headmaster Primary School, Niggam Chaudhary were the special guest on the occasion.
The prominent and budding poets Sarswati Devi; Seema Rani; Chander Kanta; Neelam Devi; Kailash Devi;, Subash Sumberiya, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Sunita Devi, Vijay Kumar, Mangat Ram, Narryan Dutt and Anju Devi participated in the mushaira and presented poetic works touching all aspects of society.
The guests appreciated the efforts of the poets for their meaningful and entertaining poetic works. He urged for organizing more such awareness programmes in different places for the benefit of common masses in the society.
On the occasion, a scintillating cultural programme based on fundamental duties and rich folk culture was also presented by artists of Cultural Wing DIPR, Jammu.
Among others present were Drama Instructor, Mr. Vijay Anand, senior Artists of Cultural Wing and large number of local people.
